Real Care 2 Baby?Help!?

I just got my baby today and it's for a grade and I am a straight A Honors student and I do all of my work.However,this baby will not work!It will not respond to the wristband and will not beep and all it does is cry.Where am I supposed to put the ID so that it can beep?How long must it stay there?It's cried about 9 times since I've had it and I've tried the ID all ove rit's body and it will refuse to work.What do I do?
